Recruitment Job Purpose:

Assessing the skills, experience, and qualifications of potential job applicants and inviting suitable candidates to become part of our team

Report to: Operations team

Salary – up to £28,000

Recruitment Officer Job Duties:

  • Liaise with service managers to manage vacancies across the organisation
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and postings adverts on our online platforms
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships
  • Access candidate databases to match the right person to the advertised position
  • Browsing social networking sites for suitable job profiles with the required skills
  • Arrange and attend recruitment fairs and other events to enable the company to become the “employer of choice” for those seeking roles in the care industry
  • Communicate by telephone, emails and in person to determine suitable candidates that match the organisations culture and Values
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job and invite them to look around our services
  • Receive & Review CV’s and applications and creating a shortlist based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics
  • Organising interviews for candidates at a time suitable
  • Inform candidates about interview outcomes
  • Prepare offer letters, contract terms and conditions in consultation with HR
  • Compliance of recruitment of employees and administration including overseeing reference requests, DBS checks, application documentation. Verifying information from new and potential employees
  • Recruiting candidates within a pre-set timeframe for continued business productivity
  • Recruiting apprentices where appropriate that have the potential to develop into skilled workers
  • reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes in consultation with HR.
  • Arranging inductions for new staff
  • Overseeing immediate management of mandatory training
  • Help with giving and scoring personality, aptitude, and skills test
  • Preparing and submitting reports with employee data to make sure that all staff members meet requirements of employment and training
